Eligibility

Participants aged 18 to 35 are invited to enroll for the “Fitme Marathon” in their respective segments. Prizes and award will be exclusively awarded only to Madurai citizens.

Race Categories

The “Fitme Marathon” conducts two race divisions: 5km and 10km. Participants can select their preferred category during the registration process.

Health and Safety

All participants are required to acknowledge and accept that they are undertaking the run at their own risk. Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, including those with heart conditions and other health concerns, should consult with a medical professional before participating. Each participant is responsible for ensuring their physical fitness for the event.

Awards and Prizes

Prizes and awards will be presented exclusively to residents of Madurai who complete the race within the specified time in their respective categories. Participants from other districts will receive recognition and participation certificates but will not be qualified for cash prizes or medals.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to display sportsmanship and adhere to the rules and regulations of the event. Any form of cheating, misconduct, or violation of event rules may result in disqualification.

Registration Fees

Participants must remit the registration fee as specified on the event website. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Cancellation and Refund

In the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers will make every effort to inform participants and provide information regarding refunds, if applicable.

Photography and Videography

By participating in the “Fitme Marathon,” participants give consent to being photographed and/or filmed during the event. Organizers may utilize these images for promotional purposes. 

Changes to Event Details

The organizers reserve the right to make alterations to event details, including the route, start time, or any other aspect, as deemed necessary for safety or operational reasons. 

Liability Waiver

All participants are required to sign a liability waiver during the registration process, releasing the event organizers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any liability for injuries or accidents that may occur during the event. 

Contact Information

Participants are accountable for providing accurate contact information during registration. The organizers will utilize this information for event-related communication. 

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the “Fitme Marathon,” participants acknowledge that they have perused, comprehended, and consented to these terms and conditions. Prizes will encompass gifts and cash, totaling the overall prize.
